I've been baking privately and professionally for six years. I'm partial to very chocolatey brownies & chewy chocolate chip cookies (+ a well-made croissant), but a loaf of crusty bread can never go wrong. I love using seasonal products and prefer to be creative with my flours and sugars--I find that the pastries are more flavorful and fresh when I use fun (and wholesome) ingredients.
When baking for other people, I most often make layer cakes, flaky tarts, and treat platters for events.
